Accounting Manager Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple entities
  • Review journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and management reporting packages
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of balance sheet accounts and general ledger activity
  • Lead account reconciliation processes and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Partner with operational leaders to support financial reporting and business performance initiatives
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
  • Support annual audits and coordinate with external auditors
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes
  • Assist with acquisition accounting, entity integrations, and other strategic growth initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and increased efficiency
  • Mentor and support junior accounting team members as needed
  • Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analysis requested by leadership
Accounting Manager Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Previous experience in a multi-entity, multi-location, healthcare services, consumer services, retail, or high-growth environment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
  • Experience managing month-end close processes and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Experience working with NetSuite
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with stakeholders across the organization
