Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our accounting and administrative operations. This position is ideal for someone with experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, and general office administration who enjoys working in a collaborative, organized environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks Online, strong Microsoft Excel skills, and the ability to accurately process financial transactions while providing administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and distribute monthly customer invoices.
• Monitor Accounts Receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding customer balances.
• Apply customer payments and post transactions using QuickBooks Online.
• Prepare bank deposits and process incoming payments.
• Perform account reconciliations and assist with journal entries.
• Maintain accurate customer accounts and financial records.
• Enter financial and accounting data with a high level of accuracy.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage spreadsheets, formulas, pivot tables, and financial reports.
• Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail.
• Maintain organized filing systems for accounting and administrative records.
• Provide general administrative and office support as needed.
• Assist the Financial Controller with daily accounting functions and special projects.

Qualifications
• Previous experience as an Accounting Assistant, Accounts Receivable Clerk, Bookkeeper, or similar accounting support role required.
• Experience with Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial data entry.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and spreadsheet management.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Dependable, professional, and self-motivated.
• High School Diploma or GED required; coursework in Accounting, Finance, or Business is a plus.
