PrideStaff Financial on behalf of a client located in Broward County, is seeking an experienced and professional Accounting Assistant to assist in their busy Accounting Department. Do you have the following skills to be effective and successful in this role? Apply today


Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payables and Receivables
  • Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
  • Balances accounts by reconciling entries.
  • Maintains the general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.
  • Balances the general ledger by preparing a trial balance and reconciling entries.
  • Maintains historical records by filing documents.
  • Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; and advising management on needed actions.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Knowledge of accounting principles
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related field
  • Computer savvy and with the ability to pick up new software's
  • Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and have strong attention to detail


Must be able to submit to a background check and a drug screen
