Position Overview

Independent Artist Group is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented and dependable Client Trust Accounting employee to support the day-to-day operations of our talent agency. This role is responsible for processing accurate client earnings records, organizing documentation, performing data entry, reconciling accounting information, and providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the department. The ideal candidate is someone who is eager to learn and build a position in the client trust accounting area of a talent agency. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who is looking to grow professionally while gaining exposure to the financial operations of a leading talent agency.


Key Responsibilities

Enter and maintain client earnings data with a high degree of accuracy.

Organize, scan, and file accounting records and supporting documentation.

Assist with invoice preparation and client personal accounting maintenance.

Reconcile client reports and verify data accuracy.

Support month-end and year-end accounting activities.

Assist with research and resolution of client accounting discrepancies.

Prepare spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft Excel.

Provide clerical and administrative support to the Accounting/Finance Department.

Assist with special projects and other accounting-related duties as needed.


Qualifications

Previous experience in an accounting department, such as a clerk, accounting assistant, or similar accounting support role.

Entertainment industry experience is preferred but not required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Strong 10-key data entry and mathematical skills.

Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: $22-$24.50/hr depending on experience
