Role Overview

As an Accounting Administrative Assistant, you'll be the first point of contact for our clients while supporting the day-to-day operations of our office. You'll answer client questions, direct tax and accounting inquiries when needed, and help create a professional, welcoming experience for everyone who interacts with our firm.

In this role, you will:

  • Welcome clients and answer incoming calls
  • Manage client documents, mail, scanning, and filing
  • Answer client questions and direct tax and accounting inquiries as appropriate
  • Schedule meetings and maintain office operations
  • Support day-to-day firm operations, events, and special projects

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced professional office, and is excited to take on a variety of responsibilities while helping support the success of our team.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Administrative experience in a professional office required
  • Experience in a CPA, accounting, or tax office is strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of tax terminology and the tax return process strongly preferred
  • Current Notary Public commission preferred (or willingness to obtain one; company-sponsored)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
