The IT-Enabled Services (ITeS) vertical consists of organizations that help businesses leverage technology to improve operations, accelerate digital transformation, and deliver business outcomes. These companies provide a combination of technology consulting, systems integration, managed services, outsourcing, cloud modernization, AI implementation, analytics, and application development services. IT-Enabled Services serve as trusted technology partners for enterprises across industries. Account Technology Strategist (ATS) is a senior technology leader responsible for helping enterprise customers in the IT Enabled Services (ITeS) industry accelerate their AI, cloud, security, and digital transformation journeys. The Account Technology Strategist will serve as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and business leaders. You will translate business priorities into technology strategies and roadmaps that deliver measurable business outcomes. Partnering closely with Account Executives, Customer Success teams, Solution Specialists, and ecosystem partners, you will drive innovation, technology adoption, and business growth while helping customers maximize the value of their technology investments.
This role combines executive engagement, industry expertise, technology strategy, and commercial acumen to shape transformational outcomes for customers and Microsoft.

Responsibilities
Customer Strategy & Technology Leadership
  • Build trusted relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders, acting as a strategic advisor.
  • Understand customer business priorities and develop technology strategies across AI, cloud, security, data, and business applications.
  • Lead executive briefings, workshops, and strategic discussions that accelerate digital transformation and innovation.
  • Assess customer technology landscapes and recommend solutions that improve resilience, security, efficiency, and business agility.
  • Provide thought leadership on emerging technology trends and industry best practices.

Business Growth & Customer Success
  • Drive technology-led business growth by aligning customer outcomes with Microsoft solutions and capabilities.
  • Identify and accelerate opportunities across AI, cloud, security, modern workplace, and business applications.
  • Develop and execute adoption and consumption strategies that maximise customer value and long-term success.
  • Work closely with Microsoft IT-Enabled Services team based in India.
  • Partner with sales, customer success, services, and partner teams to remove barriers and deliver successful customer outcomes.

Industry & Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Apply deep knowledge of the IT Enabled Services (ITeS) industry, including business models, operational challenges, and technology trends.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional Microsoft and partner teams to deliver customer transformation initiatives.
  • Create referenceable customer success stories that demonstrate measurable business impact.
  • Continuously build expertise in AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and digital transformation technologies.

Governance & Compliance
  • Demonstrate the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and security standards.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks while supporting governance and compliance initiatives.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 4+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, practice building, or related technical/sales experience OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States that does not now or in the future require employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology sales, pre-sales, solution consulting, technical consulting, or technology strategy roles, with a proven track record of driving customer business outcomes.
  • 5 Yrs + Experience working with IT enabled services & Work closely with IT-Enabled Services team based in India.
  • Experience engaging and influencing executive-level decision makers, including CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and business leaders.
  • Experience leading AI, cloud modernisation, cybersecurity, or digital innovation programmes. Industry-recognised certifications in Cloud, AI, Security, Architecture, or related technology domains.
  • Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, consulting, and strategic planning skills.

Account Technology IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
