Job description

We're looking for an Account Director who thrives at the intersection of client leadership, performance marketing, and business growth and who is passionate about helping brands turn media investments into measurable business results.

This role is ideal for someone who can confidently navigate strategic conversations with executive stakeholders while leading integrated media campaigns that drive measurable business outcomes. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients, lead cross-functional teams and help shape the future growth of both our client partnerships and our agency.

As an Account Director, Performance Marketing, you'll oversee a portfolio of accounts, connecting client objectives with media strategy, campaign management, analytics and outcomes. If you're equal parts strategist, relationship builder and performance marketer, we'd love to meet you.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as the senior strategic lead for a portfolio of client accounts, building trusted relationships with executive stakeholders and key decision-makers.
  • Develop and present integrated marketing and media strategies that align with client business goals and drive measurable results.
  • Translate complex performance data, analytics, and media insights into clear recommendations and actionable business strategies.
  • Lead collaboration across media, analytics, ad operations, and digital teams to ensure successful campaign execution.
  • Champion a "test and learn" mindset, encouraging innovation, experimentation and optimization across campaigns.
  • Guide clients through emerging media opportunities, platform innovations, and evolving marketing technologies.
  • Mentor and develop account team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Manage account profitability, forecasting, budgets, scopes of work, and overall financial health.
  • Identify opportunities to expand client partnerships and contribute to agency growth.
  • Support agency new business efforts through strategic planning, presentations, and pitch participation.
  • Ensure projects move efficiently while maintaining high standards for quality, communication, and client service.
  • Travel up to 20% will be required.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
  • 8+ years of experience in advertising, marketing, media, or agency client services.
  • Proven success managing complex client relationships and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of performance marketing across paid search, paid social, display, video, streaming, and programmatic media.
  • Strong knowledge of analytics, attribution, measurement frameworks, and performance optimization.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and developing high-performing talent.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and account profitability.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic mindset with a passion for solving problems and driving growth.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or a related field.
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in gaming, entertainment, hospitality, or destination marketing.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as The Trade Desk, DV360, Tealium, AudienceStream, Live Nation, Ticketmaster, or similar technologies.
  • Experience working across media, creative, analytics, web, CRM, content, and AI-enabled marketing solutions.
