About the Role & Program

The Walt Disney Studios Creative Marketing team is seeking a dynamic, passionate, and creative Intern to help shape the promotional campaigns for our theatrical and streaming releases. This role offers immersive, hands-on experience learning, supporting and working on 360 creative marketing campaigns.

As a Creative Advertising Intern, you will work alongside a team of experienced marketers, producers, and creative directors who manage the development of trailers, TV spots, digital/social content, print materials, and innovative experiential campaigns.

You will gain a deep understanding of how a major studio positions its films and content to connect with global audiences, and an opportunity to share ideas in creative brainstorming sessions.

The internship runs from September 2026 through December 2026. If selected for this role, you will report directly to the Director of Creative Advertising.

What You Will Do

  • Creative Asset Management - Track, organize, and route marketing materials through review and approval to maintain project efficiency.

  • Design & Print Support - Assist with presentation design, layout adjustments, file management, and prepare Keynote and PowerPoint materials for internal and filmmaker meetings.

  • AV (Audio/Visual) Creative Support - Distribute AV assets securely, coordinate deliverables from agencies, and ensure timely access to campaign content for teams.

  • Market & Competitive Research - Analyze industry trends and promotional work to inform and inspire marketing strategies.

  • Creative Brainstorming & Concept Development - Contribute ideas during brainstorms, attend agency meetings, gather feedback, and coordinate creative revisions.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work across teams and agencies to maintain brand consistency, streamline communication, and align materials with campaign goals.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Understanding of Print and AV assets for marketing campaigns.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in presentation software, including Keynote, PowerPoint, and Google Slides, with a keen understanding of visual storytelling principles.

  • Demonstrated expertise with Adobe Creative Cloud apps (Photoshop, Premiere Pro).

  • Strong organizational capabilities, with proven experience managing multiple projects or timelines within fast-paced environments.

  • Ability to articulate creative concepts clearly and collaborate effectively within diverse team settings.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • A well-established passion for film, television, pop culture, and the broader entertainment industry.

  • Experience contributing to student films, campus marketing initiatives, creative writing assignments, or managing social media channels for student organizations is highly regarded.

Education

  • Senior year preferred.

  • Major or previous coursework in Art, Marketing, Communications, Cinema/Television/Media Studies, Graphic Design, or a related field.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.

  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization

  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship

  • The approximate dates of this internship areAugust2026 throughDecember2026

  • Fully available to work onsite 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday). Fridays are remote with flexibility to work onsite as needed.

  • Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in Burbank, CA.

  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

The pay rate for this role in California is $22.50 per hour.
