Job description

The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Ellsworth, ME. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is an in-office position.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Manage a book of business
  • Understand clients' insurance needs and provide tailored solutions to ensure proper coverage
  • Review client accounts and handle renewals
  • Collaborate with underwriters and team members
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and regulatory changes

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Personal Lines insurance agency environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Active ME property & casualty license
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
  • Punctual, reliable, and organized
  • Possesses strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft products.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills, attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and enjoy interactions with team members
