Job description

Job Summary: The Physician Recruiter - Acclaim recruits Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers for Acclaim, JPS Health Network and affiliates, conducts full life cycle recruitment and develops strategic recruitment plans. The Physician Recruiter coordinates all recruitment activities to ensure physician levels are maintained in accordance with Acclaim's needs and goals. The Physician Recruiter continually assesses the short and long term needs for provider services.

Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities:

  1. Coordinates a physician recruitment program that encompasses the needs of JPS Health Network, Acclaim Physician Group, and affiliates to include managing recruitment through the full-life cycle process and assisting other recruiters with recruitment activities.

  2. Identifies, develops, and implements recruitment strategies for targeted physicians utilizing industry recruitment methods and conventional practices to attract top talent.

  3. Sources and recruits providers through various databases, direct mailers, email blasts, conferences, social media and advertising. Initiates recruitment efforts with local residency programs.

  4. Pre-screens candidates and makes decisions and/or recommendations for cultural fit and hire. Acts as point of contact for potential new hires regarding issues and/or questions pertaining to employment.

  5. Coordinates site visits and/or interviews, travel, and relocation for vetted candidates.

  6. Establishes employment offer terms (e.g. recruitment incentives, compensation, benefits, etc.). Negotiates and extends salary offers to candidates. Ensures market competitiveness while also aligning offers with the Acclaim compensation philosophy and practices.

  7. Acts as a liaison with external recruitment firms to assist with recruitment efforts for both locum and permanent staffing.

  8. Maintains an active and accurate database for provider applicants and ensures system is updated. Develops and analysis recruitment reports and monitors trends to provide recommendations for improved recruitment processes.

  9. Interacts with various levels of leadership, department staff, and community providers.
