Job description

Acclaim Physician Group, Inc. (Acclaim) is a multi-specialty medical group practice comprised of over 500 physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who partner with JPS Health Network (JPS). Acclaim Multi-Specialty Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Plastic Surgeon who is committed to quality and patient-centered care to join an experienced surgical team.

As the county health network and Level-1 Trauma Center, JPS has served the residents of Tarrant County for more than 100 years and provides care to a population of over 3.5 million people. JPS is also an urban teaching hospital with a long history of training physicians and medical students.

JPS offers 18 residency and fellowship programs, including the largest family medicine residency in the nation. Education is provided in partnership with the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Texas Christian University Medical School.

Position Highlights

  • Join an established team consisting of 1 Surgeon, 2 APPs, and 1 RNFA
  • Strong interest in reconstructive surgery, particularly microvascular surgery
  • Opportunity to perform cosmetic surgery
  • Practice locations include:
    • Acclaim Multi-Specialty Clinic
    • JPS Plastic Surgery and Wound Clinic
    • JPS Oncology Infusion Clinic (All located within the Medical District)

Required Education and Experience

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited school of medicine
  • Residency and/or Fellowship training in Plastic Surgery

Required Licensure / Certification

  • Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of Texas
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery
