Overtime Eligible (Y/N): N (Exempt)

Location: Los Angeles, California

Work Arrangement: Current Hybrid Work Arrangements. All candidates must be flexible with any work schedules that may be necessary as dictated by business needs.

Saraly: $120K~$150K (DOE) + eligibility for discretionary bonus based on qualitative and/or quantitative performance factors.

このポジションでは、米国に新設された戦略コンサルティングチームのJapanese Bilingual Strategy Consulting Managerとしてプロジェクトをリードしていただきます。日本と北米間のクロスボーダー取引に関連するデータドリブンな戦略案件を中心に、経営層クラスのクライアントと密に連携するポジションです。


Responsibilities and Job Description

The Strategy Unit manages a wide range of client engagements that are relevant to Strategy consulting

projects, including:

• Market research, Market entry & business development, strategic planning related consulting

• Business Due Diligence, Joint venture, business partnership related support consulting

• Turnaround & Restructuring consulting, corporate governance consulting


As a manager, you are expected to lead project execution and lead a team of consultants assigned to

the project, especially on the following job scope:

• Conduct market research, competitive analysis research, regulatory research in related industries according to client’s requirements, including primary and secondary research

• Work as a project manager for client delivery including winning the project proposal

• Contribute to the skill development for junior members and team-building

• Present a strong and convincing business case story and strategy recommendation to client.

• Write report as deliverables to client, mainly in Microsoft Power Point

• Liaising with other team members (Japan, Singapore, and other APAC) for project execution

• Other tasks required for project execution and deliverables to client


Requirements/ Must-Have要件:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience at a Strategy consulting firm (Big 4, Accenture, NRI, Dream Incubator, Corporate Direction, etc.) is required. Alternatively, at least 3 years of experience at a strategy consulting firm (MBB, Kearney, Roland Berger, ADL, Strategy&, Accenture Strategy, etc.) is required.

• Business-level Japanese language proficiency is required (N1 level)

• Business mindset with strong analytical and critical thinking skills to present solutions to complex problems in a logical and step-by-step manner in various industries

• Professional mindset with strong ownership

• Strong attitude towards learning new things beyond his/her comfort zone

• Proficient in Microsoft Power Point and Microsoft Excel

• Must have valid authorization to work in the United States


Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in business due diligence, PMI, and other M&A‑related consulting projects, or experience in corporate turnaround, operational improvement, and other management improvement projects.

• Skill set including accounting, auditing, and financial modeling.
