Job description

Role Description:

The purpose of the Plant CI Specialist role is to support the deployment of the Ardagh Metal production system (AMPS) at the site level, contributing to the achievement of operational goals through the application of Lean/Six sigma tools and AMPS concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and support performance improvement opportunities-such as ODM reduction, spoilage control, cost optimization, and productivity gains-through the practical application of AMPS tools and methodologies
  • Coach teams, promote lean thinking, and embed a culture of sustainable improvement across the plant
  • Through the use of AMPS tools, data analysis, and structured problem-solving, ensure that improvement activities deliver measurable and lasting results
  • Enable operational excellence and drive performance improvements aligned with site and organizational objectives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent expereince (7+ years) in manufacturing continuous improvement in a high-speed production environment.
  • Certified in Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred)
  • Project Management skills applying both Lean and Six Sigma
  • Proficient in MS Office tools
  • Strong understanding of Production Systems
  • Process and data driven mindset, with strong ability to understand plants technologies & processes
  • Experience in working within a manufacturing environment for at least 3 years
  • Experience in deploying Lean/Six Sigma principles for minimum 1 years
  • Experience in facilitating training/coaching
