This role is eligible for a signing bonus up to $5,000.

Located in Durham, North Carolina, North Oak Academy is opened as part of the National Heritage Academies network of schools. Through a character-based approach to education, we inspire our students to excel academically and think creatively to reach their full potential. Our dedicated teachers help students apply critical-thinking skills to solve real-world problems.   • NHA provides our students with specially designed instruction developed to meet the unique needs of each child resulting from his/her disability such as: a resource room, inclusion, and/or pullout services.

  • Participate in professional development that is specific to special education curriculum, along with data tracking tools.
