Overview
This position provides administrative and operational coordination for the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program within the Conway School of Nursing. Reporting to the Assistant Dean for the ABSN Pathway, the role supports program operations, including student communications, enrollment processes, academic administrative systems, and reporting. The position serves as a central resource for ABSN students and faculty and assists with program events, admissions coordination, and student support activities. This role requires independence, initiative, strong organizational and technical proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced accelerated program.
The projected salary range for this position, which represents the full range of anticipated compensation
is: $51,000 to $60,000.
Responsibilities
Manages student records, cohort calendar, and non-academic courses, and assists the Assistant Dean of ABSN in calendar management.
Maintains and updates internal and university student administrative systems and assists with undergraduate and graduate admissions processes.
Creates and maintains online programs in Cardinal Station.
Uses Cardinal Station to assist with registration tasks, class scheduling, and retrieval of student information as needed.
Works with the Registrar to develop semester schedules.
Prepares files for student advisors, assists with student registration, distributes grade sheets, prepares degree lists for graduating students, and enters and audits data on academic transcripts.
Troubleshot enrollment and registration issues.
Processes daily and weekly enrollment reports for online programs using Cardinal Station Query Manager.
Works with the Assistant Dean to confirm appropriate course scheduling each semester and monitor student enrollment status and changes.
Works with Admissions to review weekly admit status queries.
Maintains ABSN student communications, including managing program emails and deadline reminders.
Provides administrative support related to comprehensive exams and other standardized testing.
Conducts requisition requests, financial reports, purchase orders, and reimbursements.
Assembles information for the School of Nursing annual report to the University President and other required university reports.
Submits reports to the SON Faculty Assembly identifying technology updates and areas for improvement for online programs.
Identifies opportunities for improvement in registration and application processes.
Works with the Director of Online Programs to coordinate program updates.
Works with vendors regarding testing contracts, Assistant Dean of ABSN on faculty contracts, and Clinical Partnership Manager for clinical contracts.
Works with the Clinical Partnership Manager for clinical learning experience planning and assists with clinical learning experience faculty course management.
Serves as the ABSN program's primary contact for office visitors and phone inquiries.
Records minutes for assigned meetings.
Works with the Assistant Dean of the ABSN program to coordinate student events, including the Blessing of the Hands and Pinning Ceremony, and student orientation.
Works with student success for student progression and guidance regarding academic policies and procedures.
Works with other administrative staff on procuring supplies for various programs and assists in managing the program budget, including monitoring.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree with at least two or more years of experience in customer service, office support, and/or university affairs is preferred.
Must have excellent computer skills and be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, LMS platforms, student information systems, Google Products, and be able to learn additional technological skills.
