Job duties:
• Grinds various sized turned bars to exacting size and surface tolerances
• Operates automatic drill press, vertical mill, overhead cranes and forklifts
• Actively supports all PTS Management System activities i.e. 5S, Failure analysis etc.
• Provides ideas and feedback that are used in areas of continual improvement of all facility activities
• Supports all job functions by being cross trained in each area
• Familiarity with ISO standards and requirements
• Exercises independent judgment as needed
• Observe and follow all safety policies and procedures in compliance with the organizational rules,
• while seeking continuous improvement.
• Follow all environmental requirements and regulations, while seeking continuous improvement.
• The incumbent is responsible for his/her safety as well as his/her colleagues, seeking continuous
• improvement related to employee's health and safety, environment and the process efficiency and customer's satisfaction with the quality of products and services. All efforts must be directed for preventive actions.
• 5S and routine equipment care
• Any additional duties that may be assigned by management
