Cash Application Specialist / Accounts Receivable (Contract-to-Hire)
Near Warrensville Heights, OH | Up to $25/hr
LHH is partnering with a reputable organization near Warrensville Heights, Ohio to identify a Cash Application Specialist / Accounts Receivable professional for an exciting contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working with numbers, high-volume transactions, and a fast-paced environment. What You'll Be Doing
  • Accurately apply daily customer payments including checks, ACH, wire transfers, lockbox, and credit cards
  • Research and resolve unapplied, unidentified, and misapplied cash transactions
  • Reconcile daily cash activity to bank deposits and internal reporting
  • Investigate and resolve short payments, overpayments, and discrepancies
  • Collaborate with Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Collections teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation to support clean AR aging and reporting
  • Utilize Excel to track, reconcile, and analyze payment activity
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in cash application, accounts receivable, or related accounting functions
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume processing
  • Proficiency in Excel for reconciliation and reporting
  • Experience with ERP or accounting systems
