Job description

We are seeking a 911 Network Planning Engineer for a REMOTE 6-12 month contract, high possibility of extending or converting to an FTE. The 911 Network Senior Technician will plan and manage all aspects of deploying and maintaining multiple 911 networks, including the design, installation and modification of the networks in response to internal and external drivers, while ensuring the highest level of network integrity. No 3rd parties, candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card holders.

What you'll do: Creates 911 network plans that take into account multiple factors including network diversity, cost effectiveness, LEC/NG911 provider and PSAP/911 entity requirements Initiates and manages install, change and disconnect orders for 911 DS1s and DS0s in support of deployments, network maintenance, optimization and rehome activities Accurately forecasts and delivers results to drive revenue and cost savings within established timeframes, while protecting the integrity of the 911 network Monitors network utilization and initiates actions to address capacity needs Establishes and maintains strong relationships within the 911 community through outreach efforts, PSAP education and compliance reporting What we're looking for: 5+ years of related experience in a 911 circuit design role Comprehensive understanding of 911 network architecture, along with experience interpreting complex network designs and devising diverse 911 networks Comprehensive understanding and experience planning and project managing the installation and modification of TDM and SIP circuits Proven track record as adept and effective project manager, including the ability to influence and execute on cost savings and time sensitive projects, despite internal and external challenges If you are interested and available, please forward your resume to lisa.beresford@comcentric.com Lisa Beresford Senior Recruiter lisa.beresford@comcentric.com #J-18808-Ljbffr
