Job Description:

Prowise Solutions is hiring a Network Engineer to support a leading global telecommunications client. This role involves working on enterprise-scale network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across data centers and cloud environments, including Private 5G initiatives.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with 2โ€“5 years of experience in networking and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (routing, switching, segmentation)
  • Configure and manage Cisco Nexus switches (L2/L3, VLANs, vPC, STP, HA)
  • Implement and troubleshoot BGP and OSPF routing protocols
  • Manage firewalls (Fortinet FortiGate, Palo Alto) โ€“ policies, NAT, VPNs
  • Support network security (segmentation, access control, firewall enforcement)
  • Maintain hybrid connectivity with Microsoft Azure (ExpressRoute, VPN)
  • Troubleshoot network, firewall, and cloud connectivity issues
  • Monitor network performance and ensure uptime
  • Perform traffic analysis, routing validation, and root cause analysis
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams

Required Skills

  • 2โ€“5 years of experience in Network Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and OSI model
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco or Juniper devices
