Job description

Medical Center seeking Orthopedic APP for total joint --Outpatient and inpatient role --Standard office hours (Mon-Fri / 8am-5pm) --Protected administrative time (4 hours per week) --Call Schedule for Physician's (supervision of physicians will be determined during recruitment based on experience and specialty interest of APP): Shared call with other orthopedic surgeons, approximately 1:8 to 1:9 rotation for ED call - Clinic Call is 1:6 --Call Schedule for APP: clinic first then back up call of on call physician --Support Staff: Dedicated orthopedic nurse, PAs, and experienced surgical teams --Cerner EMR --Average Patient Volume: 17-20 patients per day --Demographics: Primarily adult patients with a range of orthopedic issues, focusing on those requiring joint replacement surgeries --Visit types: Initial consultations, pre-operative planning, post-operative follow-ups, and management of chronic ortho issues advised with care plan of supervising physician. --Joint replacement, mako robotics experience welcomed. --Procedures: in office bread and butter --Main Campus: Currently 10 operating rooms with (pre and post operative area) --Single-site setup: ASC with 4 ORs + 11 bay pre/post op rooms, clinic, and hospital integrated for efficiency --Imaging/Diagnostics: - Diagnostic Radiography (X-Ray) - Computed Tomography (CT) - 3T Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI including breast and prostate MRI) with Air Recon DL technology - Digital Mammography including 3D Tomosynthesis - Nuclear Medicine including SPECT/CT - Positron Emission Tomography / CT (PET/CT) --Sign-on Bonus: $5k+ sign-on bonus to assist with the transition. --Competitive Compensation: Guaranteed base salary (typically MGMA median) --Comprehensive Benefits: Health, dental, & vision; supplemental insurance options (short/long-term disability, accidental, cancer, life); retirement plans with employer match. --Student Loan Repayment: Eligible for loan repayment assistance through the PSLF program, helping to manage and reduce student debt. --CME Allowances: 5 days off a year / $2k a year --Malpractice Insurance/Tail Coverage --Work-Life Balance: Flexible scheduling and ample paid time off to ensure a healthy work-life balance (24 Days PTO).
