Job description

The Machine Set-Up and Operator ensures machinery is set up, works properly, and conforms with (and can produce materials that conform with) company quality, quantity, and efficiency standards.

Perform basic set up, tool changes, and offsets

- Produce parts as per manufacturing schedule, part specification, and quality standards-

- Deburr machined parts

- Measure parts using micrometers and calipers

- Perform required in-process dimensional checking

- Log hours on time ticket

- Complete and organize required documentation (work orders, work instructions, tags, etc.)

- Keep parts organized and identified at all times

- Follow all 4M Quality Procedures

- Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area
