Location: Atlanta, GA
Type: Temp to Perm
Pay: $19/hour

Shifts Available:
First Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Second Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
Third Shift: 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Overview

Our client is seeking experienced Floor Technicians to perform major floor cleaning and refinishing tasks in a healthcare setting, following departmental standards and safety procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Perform floor care duties using prescribed methods and schedules
  • Strip and wax floors
  • Maintain floors via spray buffing, burnishing, shower-scrubbing, and top-coating
  • Shampoo carpets and remove spots/stains
  • Follow safety procedures including proper signage and barriers
  • Handle, mix, label, and dispose of chemicals per guidelines
  • Keep equipment clean and report repair needs
  • Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas, remove trash/linen bags, assist with meeting room setups, and deliver beds to patient units
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with chemicals and equipment for floor care and carpet shampooing
  • Hospital experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to read Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
  • Knowledge of proper chemical spill cleanup and exposure response procedures
