  • Responsible for leading and managing performance of all employees within department.
  • Ensure effective employee relations. Provide employee coaching and development. Makes employment decisions, and resolves employee issues through problem resolution.
  • Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Work to continuously improve in all areas.
  • Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provide regular progress reports to manager.
  • Owns team production plan schedule and efficiency and is accountable for teamโ€™s results.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by ensuring proper operating procedures are followed by employees and contractors.
  • Provides manufacturing information by analyzing and compiling production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing employees on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources while maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • High School Diploma / GED required. Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred.
  • 3-5 yearsโ€™ supervisory experience in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office. Familiar with Plant Apps & Historian. ERP system experience preferred.
  • Preferred understanding of food safety and/or consumer packaged goods industry
