Job description

Production Supervisor

This role is responsible for leading daily production operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are achieved. The Production Supervisor will provide direction to production associates, coordinate cross-functional activities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that support operational excellence.

Requirements of the Production Supervisor

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, preferably within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of GMPs, food safety practices, and continuous improvement principles.
  • Proven experience leading production teams and developing employees through coaching and training.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Comfortable working in refrigerated manufacturing environments and supporting various shifts as needed.

Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor

  • Lead daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are achieved.
  • Schedule employees, coordinate training, and support staffing requirements.
  • Monitor production performance, downtime, and reporting to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with GMPs, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Safety teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Manage non-conforming product, rework activities, and corrective actions to prevent recurring problems.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance and reduce waste.
  • Coach and develop team members while promoting a positive and accountable work environment.

2nd shift: 3:00PM - 11:00PM Monday through Friday, DIRECT HIRE

Pay is $80,000 - $90,000 annually, based on experience
