Facility in Plattsburgh, NY seeking CRNA locums coverageRates: 250/hrOpportunity Highlights
  • Coverage Dates: July 1, 2026 – September 30, 2026 (Option to extend).
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday | 07:30 – 15:30 (8-hour shifts).
    • Flexible options: 2 to 4 shifts per week or full-time (5 shifts/week).
    • Opportunities for 10-hour shifts are available; 12-hour shifts are not permitted.
  • Work-Life Balance: No night call, no weekends, and no holidays.
  • Overtime: Optional and available based on provider preference.
  • Model: Supervised by on-site Anesthesiologists.
  • EMR: EPIC.
Clinical Scope & VolumeThe CRNA will rotate through several surgical specialties. Case volume varies significantly based on the daily assignment.
  • Standard OR Days: 4–6 cases per day (Ortho, General Surgery, ENT, etc.).
  • GI Days: 10–12 cases per day (Endoscopies and Colonoscopies).
  • Required Procedures: Orthopedics, ENT, General Surgery, Gynecology, Plastics, Podiatry, and GI.
  • Specialty Notes:
    • Regional Anesthesia: Anesthesiologists perform the blocks; CRNAs provide intraoperative management.
    • Obstetrics: Limited to covering C-sections where the Anesthesiologist has already placed the spinal or epidural.
    • Pediatrics: Not required.
Provider Requirements
  • Credential Accepted: CRNA.
  • Board Status: NBCRNA Board Certified (Required).
  • Licensure: Active New York State (NY) License preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital or surgery center setting.
  • Certifications: Active ACLS and BLS.
