Job description

Facility in Columbus, OH seeking Hem/Onc locums coverageRates: $500/hrOpportunity Highlights
  • Start Date: ASAP (Targeting March start).
  • Duration: Initially through June (Long-term interest highly preferred).
  • Schedule: Full-time preferred (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM).
    • Minimum 2 days/week considered if provider is available for patient follow-up calls.
  • Call: Night call to hold pager; additional compensation for weekend call. Low inpatient burden.
  • Support: Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), RN Navigators, Dieticians, Social Workers, and Research/Genetics services.
  • Facility: 12 exam rooms, 16-chair infusion center, and 2 private infusion rooms.
Clinical ResponsibilitiesThe physician will provide comprehensive outpatient care, collaborating closely with radiation oncology and surgical specialists.
  • Consultations: New patient consults (30–45 minutes).
  • Follow-ups: Routine follow-up visits (15–20 minutes).
  • Multidisciplinary Care: Participation in collaborative care planning and tumor boards.
  • Inpatient Support: Inpatient care is primarily supported by private practice APPs.
  • Procedures: No required procedures.
Provider Requirements
  • Board Status: Board Certified or truly Board Eligible (ABMS).
  • Licensure: Active Ohio (OH) Medical License in hand (Required). IMLC not accepted due to urgency.
  • Background: Clean background with no exceptions.
  • Documentation: Self-query NPDB must be provided at the time of name clear.
  • Teamwork: Must be comfortable and experienced working within a highly integrated multidisciplinary team.
