What You Will Do:

We are seeking experienced pharmacy professionals to help strengthen and expand our Pharmacy Practice. Ideal candidates bring experience in one or more of the following areas: 340B optimization, specialty pharmacy, PBM strategy and design, outpatient infusion, drug expense management, pharmacy enterprise development, and service line integration.

In this Consultant role, you will partner closely with clients to deliver measurable results-leveraging your pharmacy expertise, process improvement capabilities, and business development skills.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities to improve pharmacy revenue cycle performance (e.g., pricing strategies, 340B program implementation, Medicaid carve-outs, and CDM review).

  • Lead the design and optimization of specialty and retail pharmacy strategies, including PBM models that improve capture and manage health plan costs.

  • Apply an end-to-end understanding of pharmacy business processes to diagnose issues and design practical solutions.

  • Develop pharmacy solution designs and provide structure for deliverables, including scope of work (SOW), execution plans, and management of multiple workstreams to achieve intended outcomes.

  • Evaluate pharmaceutical distribution processes across hospital, ambulatory, and outpatient settings, including assessment of pharmacy technology and automation.

  • Operate independently in client-facing environments and mentor others in the design, development, and implementation of innovative pharmacy solutions and process improvements.

  • Lead teams through assessment, problem definition, solution development, issue and risk identification/mitigation, and work plan development to deliver high-quality results that exceed client expectations.

  • Identify value-creation opportunities and perform financial analyses to build business cases and evaluate alternatives.

  • Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment to deliver innovative solutions for clients.


What You Will Need For Managing Consultant:

  • Bachelor's degree (BS) required.

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience; consulting experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of 340B requirements, operations assessment, and optimization principles related to pharmacy.

  • Specialty pharmacy strategy, design, and/or implementation experience.

  • Experience designing outpatient infusion strategies (HOPD, non-HOPD, and home).

  • Experience using analytics and value assessments to develop business cases and validate solution alternatives.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and delivering client workstreams.

  • Ability to perform analyses to identify and quantify pharmacy improvement opportunities.

The annual salary range for this position is $135,000.00-$225,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
