Overview

This is a hybrid role that is open to candidates working from Oregon or Washington. Team members typically work 1-2 days per week onsite at a Legacy Health location, with the remainder of the workweek completed from a virtual location (in Oregon or Washington). 

All new hires are required to travel to a Legacy Health office in Portland, Oregon prior to their start date to complete a new hire health assessment and new hire paperwork. Initial training and orientation may be conducted on-site before transitioning to the hybrid schedule

The 340B Program gives eligible hospitals and clinics access to outpatient drugs at deep discounts so they can stretch scarce resources, improve access to care, and support underserved patients.

The Pharmacy 340B Coordinator acts as a subject matter expert and provides oversight to all Legacy 340B Program Covered Entities, ensuring that the program is maximally utilized by all Covered Entities, that related records are complete, accurate, auditable, and that primary objectives as defined by health system leadership are met. Responsible for day-to-day compliant medication procurement, billing, and inventory management to ensure compliance standards are being upheld and that cost savings returns are being realized. Assists with implementation of and adherence to 340B related policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in business or health related field.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of 340B Program experience in healthcare and/or with a healthcare provider is required.

Skills:

  • Decision Making:Makes decisions with significant, broad implications for the management and operations of the 340B Program at a system level. Participates in decisions on overall strategy and direction of the 340B Program.

Licensure

Licensure/Certification:

  • Current unrestricted State Pharmacy Technician licensure and National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT).
  • Apexus advanced 340B operations certificate (ACE) required.
