Job description

Purpose/Description

The Carpenter will construct, erect, install, or repair structures and fixtures made of wood, such as concrete forms; building frameworks, including partitions, joists, studding, and rafters; and wood stairways, window and door frames, and hardwood floors. May also install cabinets, siding, drywall and batt or roll insulation. Includes brattice builders who build doors or brattices (ventilation walls or partitions) in underground passageways.

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • A valid carpenter's journeyman card
  • THIS IS A SECOND SHIFT POSITION. MONDAY-FRIDAY

    2nd Shift: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm

  • Required Tasks

    • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics & diagrams.
    • Work independently with little supervision & perform other duties as assigned.
    • Operate Power Saws, planes, drills, router, etc.
