Job description

Position: Senior Account Executive
Reports to: Senior Director of Sales
Department: Sales
Location: Holland, MI

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic business development initiatives to drive growth in branded CPG and Private Label across retail, food service and emerging channels.
  • Identify, evaluate and secure new customer opportunities with national and regional accounts.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and promotional plans that align with company objectives.
  • Build and maintain senior-level customer relationships while delivering value-added solutions to strengthen partnerships.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to uncover growth opportunities and optimize category performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, operations, quality, supply chain, etc. to align strategy and deliver results.
  • Manage end-to-end business development process – prospect, pitch, contract negotiation and close.
  • Provide regular reporting on pipeline health and progress, support forecast accuracy and performance against KPI’s.
  • Represent Request Foods at customer meetings, industry events and trade shows.
  • Navigate through retail platforms such as 1WorldSync and support the customer service department in management of this.
  • Work closely with product development, label and regulatory and packaging teams for support in project lifecycle from concept to commercialization.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, project management, or business development within the frozen food or CPG industry.
  • Demonstrated success managing national retail accounts; private label experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of the food product lifecycle.
  • Experience with cross-functional project coordination in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
  • Existing relationships with retail buyers or private brand teams strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office, Retail Link, Smartsheet, Lists, Planner, or similar platforms.
  • Strong communicator, multitasker, and problem-solver with excellent attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, required.
