Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with PET/CT experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level I trauma center and magnet hospital in Columbus, OH.
Details
- Hospital-based nuclear medicine department at a Level I trauma center and magnet hospital
- Common procedures include cardiac studies, HIDA scans, bone scans, thyroid scans, and other nuclear medicine scans
- Equipment includes Siemens Symbia T6 SPECT/CT, two Siemens Ecams, and one GE Discovery 64-Slice PET/CT
- Epic EMR
- 5x8 day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Holidays assigned as needed
- Call schedule includes every 5th weekend and 4–6 evening call shifts per month
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
- Associate's Degree required
- ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification required
- Ohio Department of Health Nuclear Medicine license required if applicable
- BLS required
- IV training required
- PET/CT experience required
Additional Information
- Charcoal grey scrubs required
- Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- First-time travelers are not mentioned as eligible — relevant experience is emphasized
