Overview

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and highly organized Title Clerk to support our motor vehicle title operations. This role is responsible for locating missing titles, correcting errors on existing titles, and ensuring all title documentation is current, accurate, and compliant with state and company requirements. The ideal candidate is proactive, thorough, and comfortable working with sensitive documentation and tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Locate, track, and obtain missing vehicle titles through coordination with internal departments, DMVs, and external partners.
  • Review all existing title documents for accuracy; identify discrepancies, errors, or incomplete information.
  • Process title corrections, updates, and reissuance requests to ensure compliance with relevant motor vehicle regulations.
  • Maintain organized, up‑to‑date title records—both physical and digital—ensuring documentation is properly filed and easily accessible.
  • Communicate with state motor vehicle agencies, lenders, dealerships, and internal teams to resolve title issues promptly as needed.
  • Monitor the status of outstanding title work and follow up consistently until completion.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a title clerk, vehicle title processing, automotive administrative, or similar role preferred.
  • High attention to detail with excellent problem‑solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with external agencies and internal teams.
