ER Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Nursing Assignment in Columbus, Ohio

  • Patient Population: Adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
Job Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
  • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
  • At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required
  • Recent, current acute care experience within the specialty required
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
  • Strong IV start skills and telemetry monitoring experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency care environment
  • Must be comfortable floating as needed
  • Flu vaccine required with medical exemptions only
Responsibilities
  • Deliver skilled emergency nursing care to oncology and general emergency patients
  • Monitor and respond to changing patient conditions in a high-acuity setting
  • Perform IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and other core ER nursing tasks
  • Support safe, effective care for complex patients across multiple age groups
  • Administer emergency medications and assist with critical interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote timely, effective treatment
  • Document accurately in Epic and maintain strong clinical communication
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care throughout every shift
