  • Prepare, implement, and maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for mechanical systems including piping, HVAC, and process utilities.
  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of mechanical installations including piping systems, HVAC systems, and mechanical equipment.
  • Witness and document pressure testing, flushing, cleaning, and other mechanical pre-commissioning activities.
  • Support commissioning activities including system walkdowns, pre-functional checks, functional testing, and redline verification.
  • Verify material certificates, traceability, and compliance against approved submittals and project specifications.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and preservation of mechanical and piping materials.
  • Track, manage, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), deficiencies, and punch list items.
  • Maintain QA/QC documentation including inspection reports, test records, and turnover packages.
  • Coordinate daily with contractors, commissioning teams, and client stakeholders to resolve mechanical quality issues
  • Participate in quality meetings, progress reviews, system turnover discussions, and project audits.
  • Deliver toolbox talks and provide guidance on mechanical quality standards, welding, and piping best practices.
  • Support startup and handover activities to facility operations teams.
  • Assist in compiling O&M manuals, as-built documentation, and lessons-learned reports for project closeout.
  • Ensure calibration and certification of mechanical inspection tools and equipment.
Skills required:
