POSITION SUMMARY

Manage key, strategic programs for the North America Services organization that will drive operational efficiencies at scale along with maturing elements of strategic planning. Programs will require cross‑functional, outcome‑driven collaboration with stakeholders and subject matter experts to produce executive‑level communications on findings, recommended preventative/corrective actions, and implementation roadmap. The goal of this position is for the candidate to become the subject matter expert in operational planning, gaining knowledge and skills that are the foundation for future opportunities in operations leadership/management in Vertiv Services.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design and lead strategic transformation initiatives and operational projects to drive improved operations planning and execution operational efficiency
  • Work directly with VP‑level leaders to shape operational strategy and influence organizational priorities
  • Engage with key stakeholders in Services and Regional Strategy & Planning, Marketing, Sales, Product Lines, Finance, and other functions to establish foundational networks and execute high visibility projects that support the Company’s top initiatives.
  • Support scaling and maintaining the Vertiv Service Business operations, including forecasting for specific lines of business
  • Implement a consistent way to monitor and track progress against the strategy and targets.
  • Work cross‑functionally to understand company capabilities and how these capabilities can be used to solve additional customer needs.
  • Conduct and analyze market research, evaluate competitors including strategies, tactics and pricing, and establish measures for effectiveness.
  • Document current state processes, identify root causes of fragmented processes or barriers to grow business, and develop strategy for ideal future state of operations processes. Collaborate with the continuous improvement team to implement process improvements and fixes aligned with future state.
  • Identify, track and evaluate market and technology trends and disruption opportunities. Package these trends with data for senior level distribution.
  • Continuously refine the market model to capture the market size and growth rates by sub‑segment.
  • Conduct market assessments, growth rates, and go to market plans.
  • Identify, track, synthesize and distribute key economic and market data.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 5 years of strategy, financial modeling and/or LEAN transformation experience.
  • Demonstrate problem solving and change management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong financial and analytical capabilities with broad business acumen.
  • Well‑developed leadership practices and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates proactive, outcome‑driven high sense of urgency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management. MBA degree preferred.
