Job description

About the Role:
Inclusion Health Services is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Specialist to join their team in Columbus, OH. In this rewarding role, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals by providing hands-on support in a residential setting. Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care and daily living support to residents in a residential facility setting
  • Assist individuals with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks
  • Implement individualized support plans and document progress accurately
  • Administer medications and monitor health needs in accordance with care plans
  • Facilitate community integration activities and encourage resident independence
  • Respond to behavioral and crisis situations using approved intervention techniques
  • Collaborate with case managers, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; degree in social services, psychology, or related field preferred
  • Valid Ohio driver's license with a clean driving record
  • CPR/First Aid certification or (willingness to obtain upon hire)
  • Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to person-centered care
