Job Summary:

We are looking for an Event Specialist who can bring ideas to life and create experiences that people remember. From associate celebrations to community partnerships and recruiting events, this role focuses on planning, coordinating, and delivering seamless events that highlight the energy and culture of Illuminate USA. If you enjoy organizing details, connecting people, and adding a creative touch, this could be the perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of internal and external events including associate celebrations, recruiting fairs, trade shows, community activities, networking opportunities, and local off-site events.

  • Represent Illuminate USA at events and support engagement efforts that strengthen brand awareness, community partnerships, and talent attraction.

  • Manage the master event calendar to ensure alignment across teams and company priorities.

  • Handle eventlogisticsfrom start to finish including venue selection, vendor coordination, catering, travel arrangements, schedules, set-up, tear-down, and on-site support.

  • Coordinate participation in trade shows and external events including boothlogistics, materials, promotional items, attendee experience, and post-event follow-up.

  • Build andmaintainstrong relationships with vendors, venues, community organizations, and service providers.

  • Ensure every event reflects Illuminate USA's brand, culture, values, and overall experience standards.

  • Use creativity, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills toanticipateneeds and keep events running smoothly.

  • Collect feedback, track event outcomes and participation metrics, and provide recommendations to improve future experiences.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field preferred.

  • Three or more years of experience in event planning, event coordination, community engagement, trade show management, marketing events, or project management.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with confidence interacting across all levels of the organization and with external partners.

  • Creative, resourceful, and detail-oriented whilemaintainingflexibility in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite; experiencewith event management platforms or CRM tools is a plus.

  • Ability and willingness to travel locally and attend off-site events, including occasional evening or weekend support as business needs require.
