Job description

If you know commercial glass from the field, you already understand what it takes to turn a set of plans into a successful installation. At Assured Glass Services, youโ€™ll put that experience to work leading the project in the field.

Assured Glass Services is hiring Field Project Managers at two levels. Whether you already have experience running large commercial glass projects or youโ€™re a lead glazier looking to move into project management, we have an opportunity that can match where you are in your career.

Youโ€™ll be the on-site leader for your assigned projects, overseeing installation and coordinating with general contractors and subcontractors while keeping quality, safety, schedules, and labor budgets on track.

What We Offer

Assured Glass Services is a family-owned commercial glazing subcontractor with three generations of experience and a strong pipeline of work, including more than a year of upcoming projects. As a team of between 20-30 employees, we work closely across estimating, submittals, procurement, and construction, giving you the support and visibility to lead projects successfully through the construction phase.

Our work can be seen throughout the Columbus area, including projects for Columbus Zoo, Ohio State University, Columbus Metropolitan Libraries, and the Westerville Police and Court Facility.

In addition to a starting salary of $75,000.00 annually plus incenttives, we offer:

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Oversee field installation, measurements, and quality control for assigned commercial glass projects
  • Manage field work against project schedules, milestones, and labor budgets
  • Coordinate with general contractors and subcontractors to keep projects on track
  • Lead job-site safety and ensure required procedures are followed
  • Attend project meetings and serve as Assured Glass Servicesโ€™ primary field point of contact
  • Identify field changes and conflicts early, communicating potential cost or schedule impacts while ensuring client satisfaction
What You Bring
  • Commercial glass experience required:
    • For experienced project leaders: 5-10 years of commercial glass experience, including experience running large glass projects
    • For developing project managers: 1-3+ years of commercial glass experience combined with a stronger overall construction background
  • Prior management experience and confidence leading people
  • Comfortable using technology, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Experience with Glazier Software, Procore, or Autodesk is a plus; training is available
  • English fluency
