What You'll Do
As a Repair Technician you'll be part of our team located in Columbus, OH. You'll get to:
  • Inspect, diagnose, and determine appropriate repair methods for power hand tools, addressing damage, wear, or malfunction.
  • Disassemble, clean, repair or replace parts, and reassemble tools, ensuring proper operation and safety through thorough testing.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, maintain a clean and organized work area, and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding repair status and tool availability.
  • Proactively contribute to continuous improvement by offering suggestions for systems, processes, and policies, and help identify escalating concerns, patterns, or service issues.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and urgency while handling stressful situations, and perform miscellaneous tasks-including projects such as 5S, Kaizen, and other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Lead.

  • Capable of multitasking, prioritizing workload, adapting to changing demands, and maintaining a high tolerance for stress while supporting workflow in the Repair Service Center.
  • Shows strong attention to detail and quality orientation, meets minimum qualifying requirements on the Repair Technician Test, and achieves performance standards within the assigned tool group.
  • Must be able to walk and stand for duration of shift, lift up to 50 pounds and climb and descend a flight of stairs for a minimum of 15 times per 8-hour shift.
