Dealership Operations Manager

Role Purpose

As the Operations Manager, you will lead the day-to-day activities of our branch service and parts departments. You are responsible for ensuring machines are sale-ready and repaired to high standards, while managing a team focused on sales growth, profitability, and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership (LMA): Lead, manage, and hold your team (Parts Manager, Service Writer, Technicians, Yard Associate) accountable.

  • Departmental Oversight: Drive sales and profit goals for both the Parts and Service departments.

  • Facility Management: Maintain the physical facility to meet OSHA, EPA, and 5S (85% score) standards.

  • Customer Excellence: Handle issue escalations and ensure all services align with company values and machine standards.

  • Support Operations: Coordinate with Sales, Rental, and PSSR teams regarding machine availability and status.

Metrics for Success

Your performance will be measured by:

  • Net Parts Income (vs. budget)

  • Net Service Income (vs. budget)

  • Store 5S Score (85% target)

Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED required; 4-year BA/BS degree preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum 6years of managerial experience in a related field.

  • Skills: Strong financial acumen (P&L, balance sheets), proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and superior communication skills.

  • Physical: Ability to stand/walk the shop floor and regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds.

  • Travel: Limited travel (approx. 15-20 days/year) for meetings and training.
