  • Manage property budgets, financial reporting, and vendor relationships to maintain fiscal health and operational efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) requirements, and all relevant legal standards including landlord-tenant law.

  • Supervise property staff across locations, providing coaching on conflict management, customer service excellence, and administrative procedures.

  • Utilize property management software such as Yardi or OneSite to track leasing activities, rent collections, maintenance requests, and data entry with precision.

  • Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management efforts to uphold safety standards and enhance resident satisfaction.

  • Conduct regular inspections to monitor property conditions, oversee repairs via CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and ensure adherence to legal administrative processes.

  • Lead negotiations for contracts with vendors and service providers while maintaining strong customer relationships through effective phone etiquette and conflict resolution skills.

  • Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a focus on multifamily housing or similar environments.

  • Extensive knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing regulations, Fair Housing laws, landlord-tenant law, and legal administrative procedures.

  • Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi or OneSite; experience with Office tools for data entry and filing is essential.

  • Strong background in sales techniques including upselling lease renewals and new leases to maximize occupancy rates.

  • Excellent negotiation skills paired with conflict management capabilities to handle tenant issues effectively.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple properties efficiently while maintaining high customer service standards.
