Job description

We are seeking a Contract Administrator to support prototype and early vehicle development programs. This role will manage supplier contracts, support budgeting and cost activities, and partner closely with engineering, legal, procurement, and suppliers to ensure successful project execution.

This position functions similarly to a purchasing buyer but is primarily focused on contracts and supplier agreements rather than direct parts procurement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and administer:
  • Statements of Work (SOWs)
  • Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
  • Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
  • Engineering Design & Development (ED&D) Agreements
  • Supplier Quotations
  • Develop SOWs, milestones, and deliverables for engineering projects.
  • Support supplier engagement for engineering services, software development, and prototype components.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, legal, and procurement teams.
  • Support purchase order creation and contract approvals through internal processes.
  • Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and supplier-related expenditures.
  • Negotiate contract terms, conditions, timelines, and language.
  • Maintain accurate contract documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience in contract administration, contract management, procurement, purchasing support, or a related field.
  • Bachelor''s degree preferred.
  • Strong contract drafting, review, and negotiation experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Automotive industry experience.
  • Background in purchasing, supplier management, legal, or contract-focused roles.
  • Experience with SAP ECC and/or Ariba.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Power BI or Power Automate.
