Role Description The Behavioral Health Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Columbus, OH. This role involves supporting clients in implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of licensed or certified clinical staff. Day-to-day tasks include observing and documenting client behavior, assisting with data collection and progress tracking, and participating in behavior analysis activities to inform treatment adjustments. The technician will help clients build adaptive skills, reinforce positive behaviors, and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment in accordance with established protocols. The role also includes collaborating with clinicians and families, attending team meetings, and following all regulatory, ethical, and organizational guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis to support implementation of behavior intervention plans and data-driven treatment.
  • Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of Behavioral Intervention techniques and foundational Psychology concepts relevant to client care.
  • Relevant qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in behavioral health or human services, ability to maintain accurate documentation, and commitment to ethical, person-centered care.
  • Ability to work on-site in Columbus, OH, follow structured protocols, and contribute positively to a diverse, inclusive team environment.
