Job description

Program Analyst III – Acquisition and Analytics
Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Junior program analyst who will support Joint Program Executive Office for CBRN Defense (JPEO-CBRND) Acquisition and Analytics Team. In this role, you will support the Acquisition and Analytics Team in its mission to provide acquisition analysis, acquisition compliance, PPBE planning, and data management by applying your acquisition and data management skillsets to evaluate and/or maintain projects, tools, and systems which support JPEO-CBRND acquisition activities.
Work Location: Edgewood, Maryland
Clearance Requirement: Secret
Responsibilities: 
  • Provide functional support to the JPEO-CBRND Enterprise for current and future acquisition information systems required to be used by the JPEO-CBRND, such as the Program Management Resource Tool (PMRT) and Defense Acquisition Visibility Environment (DAVE).
  • Conduct data audits in acquisition information systems including, but not limited to PMRT and DAVE, to provide status updates on the existence and completeness of information required in those systems as mandated by policy.
  • Populate Acquisition Decision Memorandum (ADM) action items into the PMRT and provide status metrics to leadership on outstanding ADM actions
  • Assist in reviewing and assessing internal and external stakeholders’ policies related to Defense Acquisition System and JCIDS
  • Provide status updates on Program Deviation Reports to leadership
  • Provide guidance on reporting processes and information exchange requirements as it relates to compliance of the DoD Acquisition process
  • Support the team in the planning, development, initiation, and execution of projects.
  • Perform planning and scheduling of meetings and activities for the Chief of Acquisition and Analytics
  • Provide cursory reviews of Acquisition Program Baselines and Program Management Controls.
  • Assist in the drafting and development of SOPs and business rules
  • Assist in development, design, and implementation of annual and long-range plans to realize the product development components of strategic goals.
Minimum Requirements: 
  • Required: Bachelors Degree
  • Required: 3+ years’ experience with DoD Acquisition processes and policies as outlined in DoDI 5000.02
  • Required: 3+ years’ experience using Document Staffing and Tasker System or similar (e.g., ETMS2)
  • Desired: Conversational level knowledge of the JCIDS process
  • Desired: Familiarity with the JPEO-CBRND organizational structure and roles and responsibilities therein.
