The Flight Test Vehicle & Support Equipment Deputy Program Manager is responsible for cost, schedule and technical performance associated with design, build, test and delivery of all hardware required for the Sentinel Program subcontract to Northrop Grumman. The selected candidate will co-lead and integrate professionals from engineering, supply chain, contracts, finance, planning, and operations to ensure performance to the program baseline. The Deputy Program Manager is responsible for overall performance of the program. This individual will report to the Sentinel Sr PM and will be able to provide clear summary performance, status and issues to all levels of the Sentinel organization. The Deputy Program Manager will also interface with Northrop Grumman on a weekly basis.

• Specific responsibilities include:
• Cost, Technical, Schedule management for all RV related scope, with a focus on meeting hardware delivery commitment dates.
• Managing/directing multiple CAMs and IPT Leads across organizations in executing their scope to meet the program baseline
• Lead the design and development culture to focus on Digital Engineering to ensure efficient design and production without escapes, and enhanced communication across all functional disciplines
• Resolving programmatic challenges within your scope and establishing risk mitigation activities
• Supporting the overall programmatic business rhythm for baseline management, monthly reporting, status and communication, and overall EVM performance of your span of control. This can include review and approval of monthly VARs for current period and CTD performance of Control Accounts.
• Developing a baseline plan and managing overall execution of support organizations which are required to ensure program execution success, such as Supply Chain (subcontracts and piece part) procurements, Production Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Planning.
• Coordinate staffing requirements for your program scope with the entire program leadership team for consolidation of total program requirements
• Promote an environment of continuous improvement and digital transformation within your responsible program scope
Basic Qualifications
• Proven experiences in developing and executing cost and schedule baselines
• Experience working with multiple functions simultaneously to execute a program, including Program Management, Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Planning and Finance
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), risk/opportunity management and managing performance metrics or related equivalent experience
• Experience communicating across departments and leadership levels, including a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with staff, customers, management, and peers
• Strong customer & relationship management skills
• Ability to travel on an as-needed basis
Desired skills
Direct experience as a Program Manager or IPT Lead
• Proven experience in driving and implementing affordability and producibility changes, especially those directly impacting program performance
• Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership
• Experience with Digital Transformation tools and application to improve program performance
• Direct Subcontract Management experience
• Direct Production Operations experience, including product qualification
• Familiar with Air Force Reentry Vehicle programs and Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center / ICBM Customer
• Experience across the entire program life cycle

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $134,000 - $236,325. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
