Job Summary

The Operations Support Training Manager delivers high‑quality training, onboarding, and operational support across multiple dining service locations. This role ensures teams are compliant, well‑trained, and prepared to deliver safe, consistent, resident‑centered hospitality. Ideal candidates have strong BOH/FOH experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to support sites across Southern California.

Key ResponsibilitiesTraining & Development
  • Train BOH and FOH teams in food safety, sanitation, and HACCP.

  • Train tems on regulatory compliance, health‑department standards, and infection‑prevention practices.

  • Deliver hospitality training: resident‑centered service, dining etiquette, and service recovery.

  • Provide operational training on SOPs, menu execution, food‑production standards, allergy awareness, special diets, and therapeutic nutrition.

  • Coach frontline associates, conduct skills assessments, and mentor employees into the right roles.

  • Serve as a hands‑on instructor and on‑site support resource.

Operational Support
  • Support multiple locations with daily operations, new program rollouts, and food program implementation.

  • Assist with onboarding managers and directors to ensure effective leadership.

  • Help launch and stabilize new Unidine and Morrison Living accounts.

  • Maintain documentation, survey readiness, and compliance files.

  • Track training completion and ensure employee records are accurate.

Travel & Coverage
  • Travel primarily throughout Southern California, especially Los Angeles and Orange County

  • Must be comfortable traveling by car and supporting multiple sites as needed.

 
Qualifications
  • Strong BOH and FOH background preferred.

  • Senior living experience highly desired.

  • Experience training hourly staff and improving operations.

  • Ability to work independently, travel frequently, and adapt to different environments.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
