    TSMC WA currently has a Technician position open in our IT department. This position requires proficient computer (both H/W and S/W) knowledge and skills to sustain and recover both office and Fab IT systems for 24x7 factory operation support, carry an Onduty phone/laptop as the 1st-line responder to handle user issue escalations and system alerts, constantly work inside a clean-room on a 12-hour/day shift.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Conduct cabling, computer setup in cleanroom manufacturing factory. 
    • First line issue identification and recovery of the factory automation system following procedures.
    • Help to maintain and improve existing fully automated factory system functionalities by working with engineers and users on system testing and upgrade.
    • Answer helpdesk calls to help internal users with questions and problems concerning computer systems, hardware, and software.
    • Assist IT engineers working on special projects and assignments. 

    Requirements:

    • AS or AA in Technology/Engineering related field 
    • 1-2 years Helpdesk, PC tech support, or network experience 
    • Proven troubleshooting and problem solving skills 
    • Team player with flexibility, positive attitude, and open mind to learn new technologies

    • Expert in diagnosing and resolving complex issues.
    • Must be self-motivated and have ability to multi-task in a high-paced/high stress situations.

    Work Location & Schedule:

    On-site at Camas, Washington, Monday-Friday. Position typically assigned to a 12-hour day or night shift compressed work week schedule with 3 days on one week and 4 days on the next. 

    Eligibility:

    • Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. Please note that we are unable to provide sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
    • Employment contingent on background check and drug screening (excludes cannabis).

    Pay Transparency & Other Compensation:

    At TSMC, your base pay is just one component of your comprehensive compensation package. For new hires in this position, the starting salary typically ranges between $23.55 and $31.24 per hour. The full salary range for this Job Grade extends from $23.55 - $33.85 depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level. TSMC's total compensation package also includes market-competitive pay, profit sharing and incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.
