TSMC Arizona is looking for a Water Section Construction Engineer to join our F21 FAB project located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. As a Water Section Construction Engineer, you will demonstrate a strong sense of reliability and enthusiasm and will possess an attitude that embodies our core values - Integrity, Commitment, Innovation and Customer Trust.
The Water Section Construction Engineer is responsible for participating in the Design and Contracting of the new Fab Water systems. Our systems are designed to run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year without factory interruption, creating a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment. Design engineers works closely with manufacturing, facility teams, suppliers and vendors daily to understand systems reliability and quality concerns and work to resolve issues.
Job Description:
Your main responsibilities include:
  • Participate in the construction, supervision, and management of new fab water systems
  • Cross-organizational communication, coordination, and problem-solving.
  • Responsible for the construction schedule and quality control of the new fab G&C system
  • Water system commissioning
  • Develop and cultivate local construction contractors

Recruitment Requirements:
  • Graduated from university with a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • Major in construction management engineering/environmental engineering/chemical engineering is preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in semiconductor industry operating water system and construction supervision with consulting companies is preferred

Personality Characteristics :
  • Strong ability to handle pressure
  • Outgoing personality with excellent social skills
  • Possess leadership qualities and good communication skills.

Physical Requirements:
  • May spend extended hours working inside and outside in all weather conditions, and in awkward body positions which can cause physical discomfort and strain.
  • Required to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and to adjust heavy objects.
  • The position will come in contact with sharp, hot, and cold equipment, and parts.
  • Must be medically qualified to wear a personal respirator.
  • Sensory demands include exposure to the smells associated with industrial chemical operations, exposure to the sounds associated with powered tools and industrial equipment.
  • Must have the ability to safely climb ladders, and work at elevation from ladders, scaffolding, lifts, roofs, or platforms, and the ability to work in confined spaces.
