    Job description

Talbert, Bright & Ellington (TBE) is a full-service aviation planning and engineering firm providing design, program management, and consulting services to airports and aviation clients across the United States. As part of the Trilon Group family of companies, TBE is in an active growth phase with a strategic focus on expanding its engineering and production headcount to meet increasing project demand.
The Senior Recruiter - Aviation & Engineering is TBE's dedicated Talent Acquisition partner, owning the full recruiting function across all TBE business units. This is a full-cycle, client-facing role with broad scope: you will manage the relationship with TBE's leadership and hiring managers, drive sourcing strategy for a specialized and competitive talent market and execute against a high-volume req load of 15-20 active positions at any given time. The role requires the ability to recruit across a blended mix of seniority levels - from Entry-Level Aviation Engineers and EITs to Senior Project Managers - and a genuine understanding of how to find and engage engineering talent in a niche, relationship-driven industry.
    • Serve as the single TA point of contact for TBE leadership and hiring managers across all business units
    • Own req intake, kickoff, and sourcing strategy for all open TBE roles
    • Execute full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, submittals, scheduling, offer support, and close
    • Build and maintain trusted relationships with TBE hiring managers at every level
    • Coordinate req prioritization and sourcing approach with the TA Manager
    • Own TBE's weekly pipeline narrative and reporting presented to TA leadership
    • Proactively source passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, direct outreach, and industry networks - not just job board response
    • Maintain Pinpoint ATS hygiene - statuses, dispositions, and notes current at all times
    • Flag blockers proactively - HM responsiveness gaps, comp misalignment, req clarity issues - before they stall pipeline
    • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
    • Demonstrated ability to recruit in a specialized, technical, or niche talent market
    • Experience managing an end-to-end client or BU relationship independently
    • Proficient with LinkedIn Recruiter and sourcing tools; ATS experience required (Pinpoint or similar)
    • Comfortable carrying a high-volume req load and keeping every role moving simultaneously
    • Strong communicator - confident in HM-facing conversations, intake calls, and leadership updates
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

    Preferred:
    • Aviation and AEC recruiting experience is a significant differentiator for this role. Candidates with any of the following will stand out:
    • Direct experience recruiting aviation engineers, airport planners, or FAA-related technical roles
    • Background recruiting for AEC or aviation consulting firms - agency or in-house
    • Familiarity with aviation engineering titles and career progression (EIT, PE, Project Engineer, Senior PM, Program Manager)
    • Knowledge of the aviation consulting talent market and key firms (RS&H, HNTB, Kimley-Horn, AECOM, Delta Airport Consultants, and similar)
    • Experience sourcing passive candidates in a small, relationship-driven talent pool
    • Understanding of no-poach list navigation and competitor-aware sourcing strategies
What you'll be a part of:
TBE is a specialized firm with a strong reputation in aviation - and a TA function that is actively being built to match its growth ambitions. This role has real ownership: one firm, full scope, and a direct line to leadership. You will be the person who builds TBE's recruiting capability and helps the company hit its second-half targets in a market where the right candidate relationships are everything.

TBE is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
    • Excellent compensation package
    • Outstanding holiday and paid-time-off programs
    • 401(k) Plan and Match
    • Career Path Development Program (Management & Technical Career Tracks)
    • Mentorship Program
    • Tuition Reimbursement
    • Competitive health and dental insurance premiums
    • Variety of voluntary benefit options
    • Short-Term Disability/Long-Term Disability
    • Company-furnished life insurance
    • Employee Assistant Program (EAP)
    • Flexible Spending Account and more
