Job description

Pay: $10.75 +$1.00 per hour shift premium on 2nd shift

Overview:

Read information from blueprints.

Set up, adjust, and operate production equipmentwhilemonitoring the performance of the machine and carrying out operations in propersequence.

Set up fixtures, mount parts in fixtures/components, and perform mechanical assemblyusing hand and air tools (wrenches, torque wrenches,impact wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.).

Use a computer tocheck the location, inventory, and routing of partsand maintain production records.

Job Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Be familiar with and have basic experience using mechanical repair and assembly tools includingwrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.

Have appropriate reading, clerical, and basic math skillsincluding understandingwritten instructions, maintainingproduction records,and calculatingsums, differences,and fractions.

Experience or training inwelding,machining, mechanical repair, or metal working machinery operation would be beneficial.

Other Job-Related Components:

Manufacturing plant conditions (indoors, with variable temperature and humidity, noise, and dirt).

A variable work schedule (ranging from 8-12 hours daily depending on production needs, with overtime paid after 40 hours per week) and some scheduled work on Saturdays.
