What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:

• Successfully pass weld tests todemonstrateskill and accuracy.

• Read and interpret blueprintsand 3D models

• Ensure proper alignment and fit-up of parts prior to welding, based on blueprint specifications.

• Inspect materials and structures before welding to verify quality and readiness.

• Weld components according to blueprint specifications and established procedures.

• Monitor the welding process andmake necessary adjustments to equipment foroptimalresults.

• Maintainwelding equipment and machinery to ensure proper operation.

• Maintainaccurateinventory of parts and materials within the assigned work area.

• Responsible for properlabelingof parts.

• Monitor tooling forwear or damage and report repair needs promptly

• Notify supervisorimmediatelyof any tooling problems.

• Maintain aclean work areaaccording to5S standards

• Maintain a strong focus on safety by following all safety protocols and guidelines.

• Other duties as assigned

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:

• High school diploma or GEDrequired.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Demonstratedproficiencyin M.I.G. welding techniques.

• Ability to follow instructions and quickly learn new skills and processes.

• Strong commitment to continuous improvement and personal development

• Strong interpersonal skills in working with a variety of cross-functional teams.

• Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):This position requires the use of PPE. Safety glasses, hearing protection, footwear with steel-toe and metatarsal guards. Other PPE may be task specific orrequiredbased on the job or department:gloves, face shield, high visibility vest, FR clothing, respirator, etc. Training on PPE standards, use,and hazard awareness will be provided.
